Franconia Ridge

A place every Appalachian Trail hiker dreams of when starting their journey, the beauty of the White Mountains in New Hampshire, and specifically the views from Franconia Ridge. The first time I hiked this section I couldn’t stop smiling, my pace quickened to nearly a run, and I bounded along the ridge full of joy. It is still to this day one of my favorite views on any long distance trail I’ve done. This specific scene is from my third time on the Appalachian Trail, even having done it before I was happier than ever to be here.
