Description
These colorful orange blazes hand painted on the bark of a tree mark the way roughly 1,400 miles of trail across Florida. Each and every one unique, there must be tens of thousands up and down the state. I always enjoyed taking a closer look, and of all this was one of my favorites. Some have long streaky drips of paint, and others are perfectly rectangular, but this one painted on a gnarly section of bark, was surrounded by little mushrooms. The orange blaze is synonymous with the trails here, as they light the way for past present and future hikers.
